Below is our new price list for Titanium Nitride Coating of standard tooling by the PVD process.

This list is valid from now until September 2001 and we guarantee that these prices will be held for at least that period.

Chromium Nitride (CrN) is used mainly for cold forming applications and for corrosion resistance. It provides excellent wear resistance and friction reduction against both ferrous and non-ferrous materials. It can be used as an environmentally-friendly alternative to hard-chrome plating.

Titanium Aluminium Nitride (TiAlN) is used for very high speed machining and for "difficult-to-cut" materials. It is often used as a replacement for, and can surpass the performance of Titanium Carbo-Nitride (TiCN).

For the next twelve months only we will be offering you this exciting new coating for the same price as Titanium Nitride Coating.

TITANIUM NITRIDE COATING - GENERAL NOTES

• All sizes in this list are overall sizes.
• Minumum Charges vary with the type of tool and are shown for each category.
• Pre-cleaning, as necessary, is included in all these Prices.
• Identification marks and location surfaces are masked wherever possible. Please inform us if additional masking is required.
• Tools may be new or used but must be in good condition. Tools which are burred, burned, cracked or corroded will not be accepted. Steam-tempered tools less than 12mm diameter are unsuitable for coating.
• Re-Coating of previously coated and re-sharpened tools may attract a substantial discount, please enquire for terms.
• The Temperature of the coating process is selected to suit the material being coated. Wherever possible please specify the material, e.g. H.S.S., D2, D3, carbide etc.
• Turn-around is normally one week from receipt. A fast turn- around service (minimum 24 hours) is available by arrangement.
• Overnight return carriage is normally arranged automatically unless specified on your order. Next Day carriage, including limited insurance is charged extra as follows:

First 10 Kg. - £11.00
Each additional Kg. - £0.35

Timed deliveries e.g. before 10 am. can be arranged at extra cost. For small packages only, Royal Mail Special can be used at reduced cost.

• This list is incomplete. We coat many items that are not shown here so please ask about your application.
• A Certificate of Conformity is issued for every order. All orders are processed in accordance with BS EN ISO 9002:1994.
• Terms are strictly payment in full within 30 days of the invoice date. Customers are invoiced pro-forma at our discretion.
• All orders are accepted subject to our Standard Terms of Business, copies of which are available on request.
• Greater quantities than those shown will attract lower prices.
• Contract Prices are negotiable.
